A Word From The Broker

Born prematurely at just 1 pound and 4 ounces in the intercity of Atlanta, life started off a little rough! No one expected me to live, but God had a plan for me. After some hard times, I got my degree in Marketing and helped start Peter Popovitch; a very successful woman’s sports wear company. Thirty years in the garment business was a lot like show business, fraught with hectic schedules, 24/7 days, and interesting characters! I had all of the trappings of success, but it was time for something different. Then 9/11 happened, and watching the events of that day unfold on the streets before me, I decided to simplify my life.
I moved to the western mountains of North Carolina and got my real estate license. Then in 2003, I joined RE/MAX working under my friend and mentor Leonard Cosmo. Leonard was a wonderful mentor and he shared his knowledge and passion for the real estate business. As a student of sales, I devoted myself to education, mentoring and training. I now own two RE/MAX Franchises and I don’t do anything that is normal! I truly believe the success of RE/MAX is because of their leadership, mission statement, vision, plan and wonderful charitable work.
To succeed in real estate, you have to think outside the box. You must invest in your business if you are going to make money. Hire the smartest people you can find and don’t worry if they outdo you! Sales is not a sprint, it’s a marathon! Have a plan, work it and never give up. It takes perseverance and education to make it in this business. Making money is easy – keeping it is the hard part! Mentoring is extremely important. Be a good leader and motivator. I believe in the “90/10” principal. Everyone has the right to be successful -- you just have to bring it out.
The many hard times throughout my life’s crazy journey have given me a different slant on life. Things can come and go quickly. Early on, my father, Sam Troncalli, inspired me with his words of wisdom, “never do something you don’t like.” Today, I understand what he meant by those words and my passion for real estate shows everyday. I am “Living the laid back life!”

From the fast paced world of fashion apparel on New York’s 7th Avenue to living the laid back life in the western mountains of North Carolina, his expertise and knowledge have brought him incredible success. Owner of two RE/MAX franchises, Vic Troncalli offers his clients the very best service with integrity and ethics. Vic is most passionate about the people he meets in this business and prides himself on making real estate a “No Brainer” for his customers. His leadership shows in the relationships that he builds and the charities he is involved with. Vic became a Christian at a Promise Keepers Rally in 1993. This experience changed his outlook on life and the way he approached his professional success. Currently, he resides in Boone, North Carolina with his wife Janet, and they have two grown children.
